Some start with a chorus, others with a melody. There’s no right or wrong – what matters is what suits your idea. Lyrics and melody should inspire each other.

Whether it’s a classic verse-chorus-bridge structure or something experimental – a clear structure helps take your listeners on a journey.

Once your lyrics and melody are in place, it’s time to fine-tune: tempo, dynamics, expression. Then comes recording – and your song comes to life!
📅 A Personal Example: My Song Project from July 1st
Today is July 1st – a day I’d like to use to share my current songwriting process with you. A few days ago, I read about the massacre of Jews in June 1941 in Białystok, Poland – a horrific and deeply disturbing chapter of history.
The story wouldn’t let go of me. I decided to write a song about it – in Polish. It’s meant to be a musical memorial: reflective, respectful, yet powerful. Driven by piano, filled with emotional strength.
📝 The lyrics are historically inspired, without claiming completeness – more of a symbolic act of remembrance.
📌 July 10: The song is finished. I’ve made some final edits. It will soon be released in Polish.
Music has the power to remember, to comfort, and to connect. Whether your song is light or heavy, joyful or sad – just start. The first lines belong to you.
